Sports Nutrition

Sports Nutrition is our gym and endurance department: around 250 products from LEVRONE, Trec Nutrition, 10X Athletic, BAD ASS, Fitness Authority, DY Nutrition, Applied Nutrition and Trace Minerals. It is split into ranges, from protein and creatine to pre-workout, amino acids, electrolytes and shakers, so start with the one that matches your training.

Where to start

  • Protein & Weight Gain: whey, whey isolate, casein, vegan protein, mass gainers and protein bars. Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass.
  • Creatine: monohydrate powders, blends, gummies and chews. Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise, with a daily intake of 3 g.
  • Pre-Workout: stim, non-stim and pump formulas.
  • Pump & Nitric Oxide: citrulline, AAKG and arginine, and beetroot products.
  • Amino Acids: BCAA, EAA, glutamine, beta-alanine and L-carnitine.
  • Hydration & Endurance: electrolytes, isotonic mixes and endurance fuel. Carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions contribute to the maintenance of endurance performance during prolonged endurance exercise.
  • Weight Management: fat burner formulas and L-carnitine liquids for cutting phases.
  • Sports Accessories: shakers, bottles and gym kit.

A small Recovery range completes the department. Our biggest brands are LEVRONE (Gold and Anabolic lines), Trec Nutrition, 10X Athletic and BAD ASS by Fitness Authority, with Trace Minerals for electrolytes.

Reading the label

Check the serving size (creatine is usually 3–5 g a scoop, protein around 25–30 g), the number of servings per tub, and the caffeine per serving on pre-workouts. High-caffeine products are not recommended for children or during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and any coffee or energy drinks on the same day add to your total. Flavoured powders list sweeteners and allergens such as milk and soy on the label.

Sports Nutrition: your questions answered

Should I start with protein or creatine?

Protein if you struggle to get enough from food; creatine if you do short, intense training such as lifting or sprints, where 3 g a day increases physical performance in successive bursts. Many people take both.

How much creatine should I take?

The authorised claim is based on 3 g a day, and most of our creatine powders give 3 to 5 g per serving. Take it every day, at whatever time suits you.

What is the difference between stim and non-stim pre-workout?

Stim pre-workouts contain caffeine, often a high dose per serving; non-stim and pump formulas leave it out and rely on ingredients such as citrulline. Non-stim suits evening training or anyone sensitive to caffeine.

Do you sell vegan protein?

Yes. Most of our protein is whey, from milk, but 10X Athletic Vegan Protein is plant-based. Check each label for allergens.

Do you sell sports nutrition bundles?

Yes. Stacks of protein, creatine and pre-workout from 10X Athletic, LEVRONE, Fitness Authority and Trec are in Offers, under Bundles, usually priced around 10% below buying the items separately.
