How much potassium and magnesium does one scoop give?
One rounded 6.7g scoop of the Orange powder gives 1000mg potassium (citrate), 120mg magnesium (citrate), 75mg calcium (lactate), 15mg chloride, 10mg sodium and 100mg ConcenTrace trace minerals. That's half the UK reference intake for potassium and about a third for magnesium.
What gives it the orange flavour and colour without sugar?
Natural flavours, citric and malic acid for tang, and beta carotene for colour. It's sweetened with the stevia leaf extracts Reb A and Reb M (OnoSweet), and the tub is labelled zero sugar and no carbs.
How many scoops are in the tub?
The Keto Electrolyte tub artwork says 55 rounded scoops. At one scoop a day in about 470ml (16oz) of water, that's roughly eight weeks, and Trace suggests following each drink with plenty of fluids.
Does Keto Electrolyte Powder replace the salt I've cut out?
No, Keto Electrolyte Powder is potassium-led: each scoop has 1000mg potassium but only 10mg sodium. If you need more sodium on a low-carb diet, it has to come from food or a salt-based product.
