What is in a full 6-tablet serving?
Six tablets give 250mg magnesium, 590mg potassium, 270mg sodium and 800mg chloride, plus 2mg vitamin B6, 5mg iron, 1,530mg ConcenTrace trace minerals, 100mg taurine, 100mg kelp extract and 50mg alfalfa leaf. A serving has 15 calories and 2g carbohydrate.
How many tablets a day, and how long does the bottle last?
Take 4 to 6 tablets a day, split across meals and especially before and after exercise, with plenty of fluid. At 6 a day the 90 tablets last 15 days; at 4 a day they last about 22 days.
Are the tablets suitable for a keto diet?
Yes — Keto Electrolyte Tablets are made for keto eating, with 2g carbohydrate and no added sugar in a 6-tablet serving. The bottle is also marked certified vegan, gluten-free and paleo-friendly.
What do the minerals do?
Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, potassium contributes to normal muscle function, and vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Six tablets give 67% of the UK reference intake for magnesium and 30% for potassium.
Why is there an iron warning on the bottle?
Each 6-tablet serving contains 5mg iron (as iron glycinate), and the label warns that accidental iron overdose is dangerous for children under 6, so keep the bottle well out of reach. Keep it sealed in a cool, dry place too, or the tablets can start to break down.
Should anyone check with a doctor first?
Yes — if you have been told to limit potassium or sodium, for example because of a kidney condition or blood pressure medicine, ask your GP or pharmacist first, as 6 tablets add 590mg potassium and 270mg sodium.
