What's in one Citrus Power Pak stick?
1,200 mg vitamin C, 100 mg magnesium, 200 mg potassium, 75 mg sodium, 60 mg calcium, 5 mg zinc, B vitamins (10 mg B6, 25 mcg B12), 25 mcg vitamin D3 and 100 mg ConcenTrace trace minerals. Each stick has just 5 calories and 1 g of carbohydrate.
How is the Zero Sugar version sweetened?
With xylitol and the stevia sweeteners Reb A and Reb M, instead of sugar. Keep the sticks away from dogs, because xylitol is toxic to them.
How do I make it up?
Empty one Power Pak stick into 2–3 oz (about 60–90 ml) of water, stir, then top up to taste. The label says to take one a day and allows extra sticks on days of heavy activity.
What do the vitamins and minerals do?
Vitamin C contributes to normal immune function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance and normal muscle function, and the 100 mg in each Power Pak stick is 27% of the reference intake.
Is it OK on keto or while fasting?
It fits keto: there's no sugar and only 1 g of carbohydrate per stick. Whether 5 calories breaks your fast depends on the fasting rules you follow.
Is a second stick a good idea?
Think before you double up. One stick already gives 10 mg of vitamin B6, the most the NHS says is unlikely to cause harm from supplements each day, plus 1,200 mg of vitamin C, so add up any other supplements you take.
Why is my powder clumpy?
Some caking is normal and, according to the label, doesn't affect quality. Squeeze the stick before opening and stir well.
