Your questions, answered
What's in an Orange Blast stick?
1,200mg vitamin C, 200mg potassium, 100mg magnesium, 75mg sodium, 60mg calcium, 5mg zinc, 25mcg vitamin D3, B vitamins including 10mg B6 and 25mcg B12, and 100mg of ConcenTrace trace minerals. Each 6.1g stick of Power Pak Orange Blast has 5 calories and 1g of sugar.
Is 1,200mg of vitamin C a day too much?
For most adults one stick is fine, but the NHS says more than 1,000mg of vitamin C a day can cause stomach pain, diarrhoea and wind in some people, and these settle when you cut back. That's why one stick a day is the routine; avoid stacking it with other high-dose vitamin C.
What do the vitamins and minerals do?
Vitamin C and vitamin B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, vitamin C to the normal function of the immune system, and magnesium to electrolyte balance and normal muscle function.
Does it contain caffeine?
No. There's no caffeine or other stimulant in Power Pak; the 'electrolyte energy' on the box refers to its vitamins and minerals, not a buzz.
How do I make it up?
Empty one stick into 2–3oz (60–90ml) of water, stir, then add more water to taste. It's sweetened with organic cane sugar plus the stevia sweeteners Reb A and Reb M and coloured with beta-carotene.
Orange Blast, Lemon Berry + Immunity or Zero Sugar?
Orange Blast is the standard Power Pak. Lemon Berry + Immunity, which we also stock, doubles the zinc and vitamin D3 and adds elderberry, and the Zero Sugar Citrus Power Pak swaps the cane sugar for xylitol and stevia.
