What's in a 5ml serving?
190mg magnesium, 600mg chloride, 105mg sodium, 150mg potassium, 20mg sulphate and 950µg boron, from ConcenTrace, Utah sea minerals and potassium chloride. The 118ml bottle of Keto Electrolyte Drops holds about 24 servings.
How do I take the drops?
Shake well, then add 5ml (1 teaspoon, about 100 drops) to a large glass of juice, a sports drink or water once a day, before, during or after hard activity. Keep the bottle at room temperature; the label says not to refrigerate it.
Will it affect ketosis or break a fast?
It's labelled zero sugar with no carbs, and there are no sweeteners or flavourings in it, so there's nothing in it to knock you out of ketosis. Many people add it to plain water during a fasting window.
What does it taste like?
Strongly salty and mineral — it's an unflavoured concentrate, so don't take it neat. Stirring it into juice or a big glass of water hides it best.
