What's in each capsule?
50µg (2,000 IU) of vitamin D3, which is 1,000% of the reference intake, and 90mg of magnesium, about 24%. You take one capsule a day, so the 60 capsules last two months.
What do vitamin D and magnesium do?
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function. Magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal muscle function and normal functioning of the nervous system.
Why is there only 90mg of magnesium?
Trec Vitamin D3 + Magnesium is a one-capsule top-up rather than a full magnesium supplement. 90mg is about a quarter of the 375mg reference intake, added to what you get from food.
Can I take it with another vitamin D supplement?
Count your total first: UK guidance is that adults shouldn't regularly take more than 100µg (4,000 IU) of vitamin D a day, and this capsule already gives 50µg. Don't add it to Trec Vit. D3 4000 IU, for example.
When is the best time to take it?
Any time of day, as long as it's consistent. Taking it with a meal is a good habit, because vitamin D3 is fat-soluble.
D3 + Magnesium or D3 + K2?
Both give vitamin D3 in one capsule. Trec Vitamin D3 + K2 MK-7, which we also stock, pairs it with vitamin K2, which contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, while this one pairs it with magnesium.
