How to use it
Take one capsule with 300 ml of water, two servings (two capsules) daily, after meals. Do not use on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

How much potassium does each capsule give?
233mg of potassium per capsule from potassium citrate, so the two-capsule daily portion gives 466mg, 23% of the reference intake. The 90-capsule tub lasts 45 days.
How do I take it?
One capsule with 300ml of water after a meal, twice a day. Trec says not to take it on an empty stomach and not to go over two capsules a day.
Why does it have to be taken after food?
Potassium salts can irritate an empty stomach, which is why Trec Potassium Citrate is labelled for after meals. The label also says not to use it if you have inflammation of the stomach or intestines.
What does potassium do?
Potassium contributes to normal muscle function, normal functioning of the nervous system and the maintenance of normal blood pressure. Most of your potassium should still come from food such as vegetables, fruit and pulses.
Is it safe with blood pressure tablets?
Check with your GP or pharmacist first if you take blood pressure or heart medication such as ACE inhibitors or potassium-sparing diuretics, or have a kidney condition, as these can raise blood potassium.
Who shouldn't take it?
The label says it isn't for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women. The capsule shell is plant-based HPMC, but the product may contain traces of milk, soy, gluten, fish, molluscs and peanuts.
How does it compare with NOW Potassium Citrate?
