Your questions, answered
How much HMB is in each serving?
Two capsules give 1,230 mg of calcium HMB, which supplies 1,000 mg of HMB itself. Trec's daily portion is six capsules: 3,690 mg of calcium HMB, or 3,000 mg of HMB.
How should I spread the six capsules?
The label sets the dose out in servings of two capsules, up to the six-capsule daily portion, so three servings of two across the day is the simple way to take HMB Formula Caps. Don't go over six capsules a day.
How long does a tub last?
At six capsules a day, the 120-capsule tub lasts 20 days and the 240-capsule tub 40 days. An eight-week phase needs 336 capsules, so a 240 plus a 120 covers it.
What is HMB?
HMB (beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyrate) is a compound your body makes from the amino acid leucine. Calcium HMB makes up 81% of Trec HMB Formula Caps; HMB has no authorised health claims in the UK, so we don't promise muscle results.
Can I stack it with creatine?
Yes, the two are often used together, and creatine is the one with an authorised claim: at 3 g a day it increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise. Trec Nutrition Creatine 100% 300g, which we also stock, covers that.
Are the capsules vegetarian?
No. The capsule shell is gelatine coloured with titanium dioxide, and the only other ingredient is magnesium salts of fatty acids as an anti-caking agent. Six capsules also add some calcium from the calcium HMB salt.

Order before 3:45pm Monday–Friday for same-day dispatch. Order before 12pm Saturday for Saturday dispatch.
Weekend orders
Orders placed after 12pm Saturday or anytime on Sunday will be dispatched on Monday (or the next working day after a bank holiday), regardless of delivery service selected.
