Your questions, answered
What's in the daily dose?
Two capsules give 12 vitamins, mostly at 50% of the reference intake (vitamin C at 100%), plus 100mg magnesium and 5mg zinc. Multivit for HIM also adds 250mg L-arginine, 100mg taurine, 100mg D-aspartic acid and 100mg maca root extract (4:1), making the 18 actives on the label.
How do I take it?
Two capsules a day with water, preferably during a meal. The 90-capsule tub lasts 45 days, and the label says not to use it for more than 3 months at a time.
What do the zinc and magnesium do?
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood, and magnesium contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue: the two claims on the Multivit for HIM label. Maca, DAA and arginine have no authorised claims, so we make none for them.
Are the vitamin doses high?
No — most of the 12 vitamins are at 50% of the daily reference intake, with vitamin C at 80mg (100%) and vitamin D at 2.5µg. NHS advice is 10µg of vitamin D a day in autumn and winter, so you'd need a separate vitamin D supplement to reach that.
Who shouldn't take it?
The label says children and pregnant or breastfeeding women must not take it. The capsule is plant-based HPMC, and the product may contain traces of milk, soy, gluten, fish and peanuts.
HIM or HER?
Essensey Multivit for HER + Biotin 90 Caps, which we also stock, is the women's version built around biotin. HIM adds maca root, D-aspartic acid and L-arginine instead, with zinc for the testosterone claim.
Can I add Essensey Maca on top?
Multivit for HIM has 100mg maca extract per day; if you want maca as a stand-alone, Essensey Maca 90 Caps, which we also stock, is the single-ingredient option. Neither product's maca carries an authorised claim, so keep each within its own label dose.
