100mg of Rhodiola rosea root extract, standardised to 3% rosavins (3mg) and 1% salidroside (1mg). Rhodiola has no authorised health claims in the UK, so we describe the dose rather than promise effects.
How do I take Essensey Rhodiola Rosea?
One capsule a day during a meal, with plenty of liquid. That's the whole daily portion, so the 90 capsules last three months.
What do rosavins and salidroside mean on the label?
They're compounds found naturally in rhodiola root, and the extract is standardised to set amounts of them so each capsule is consistent. In this product that's 3mg of rosavins and 1mg of salidroside per capsule.
Is it suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, the capsule is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose rather than gelatine, and the rest of the fill is maltodextrin and an anti-caking agent. It may contain traces of milk, soya, gluten, egg, fish, peanuts and nuts.
Who shouldn't take it?
The label says children and pregnant or breastfeeding women must not take it. If you take regular medication, ask your pharmacist before adding a herbal extract like Essensey Rhodiola Rosea.
