How much hyaluronic acid is in each capsule?
120 mg of hyaluronic acid and 200 mg of chondroitin sulphate per capsule, with vitamin C and L-proline.
How do I take it, and how long does it last?
One capsule a day with a glass of water, about 30 minutes before a meal. The 90 capsules of Essensey Hyaluronic Acid+ last three months.
What does 'Cartilage · Bones · Skin Health' on the label refer to?
The vitamin C: it contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage, bones and skin. Hyaluronic acid, chondroitin and proline have no authorised health claims of their own.
Is it vegetarian?
Not necessarily — chondroitin sulphate is usually made from animal cartilage, and the label doesn't state the source. Contact us before buying if you avoid animal products.
Can I take it with collagen?
Yes, the two are often taken together. Essensey Collagen Anti Age 90 Caps, which we also stock, already contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, so count those if you combine it with Hyaluronic Acid+.
Who shouldn't take it?
The label says it isn't intended for children or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It may contain traces of milk, soy, gluten cereals, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts.
