How much creatine is in a scoop of The Creatine?
Each heaped 10 g scoop gives 6,826 mg creatine monohydrate (6 g creatine), plus 1,000 mg beta-alanine, 500 mg taurine and eight B vitamins at 100% NRV. Creatine at 3 g a day increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise.
How much protein is in Shadowhey?
The nutrition panel shown on this listing gives 20 g protein per 25 g scoop, with 91 kcal and 0.56 g sugar, plus added glutamine, collagen, HMB and a lactase enzyme. Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass.
How do I use the two together?
Mix 10 g of The Creatine with 250 ml of cold water about 30 minutes before training, and shake one 25 g scoop of Shadowhey with 250 ml after training or whenever meals fall short on protein. The creatine lasts 40 days at one scoop a day; the whey tub holds about 90 scoops.
Why does my skin tingle after The Creatine?
That's the 1,000 mg of beta-alanine in each scoop; the label notes it can cause a tingling sensation. It's a known effect of beta-alanine and passes on its own.
Is it suitable if I'm lactose intolerant or vegan?
It isn't vegan, because Shadowhey is made from milk. The whey includes a lactase enzyme (5 mg per scoop) but still contains milk, so check the allergen box if dairy disagrees with you.
