What's in each tub?
The Creatine (400g, 40 servings) gives 6g of creatine per 10g scoop, plus 1,000mg beta-alanine, 500mg taurine and eight B vitamins at 100% NRV. Blood & Guts (380g, 20 servings) is the pre-workout: 6g citrulline malate, 4g arginine AKG, 5.5g beta-alanine and 372mg caffeine per 19g serving.
How much caffeine is in Blood & Guts?
372mg per full 2-scoop serving, from caffeine anhydrous, green tea and guarana. That's close to the 400mg a day usually given as the adult maximum, so cut out coffee and energy drinks on training days and start with the label's 1-scoop first serving.
How do I use the two together?
Mix 2 scoops of Blood & Guts with 250–300ml of cold water and drink it 30 minutes before training. Take a 10g scoop of The Creatine in 250ml of cold water every day, training or not: creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise at 3g a day, and each scoop gives 6g.
Why do my face and hands tingle?
That's the beta-alanine, and the Blood & Guts label says the tingling is harmless and temporary. On training days the two tubs together give 6.5g of beta-alanine, so the 1-scoop pre-workout start helps if the feeling bothers you.
Who shouldn't use this bundle?
Blood & Guts is not for under-18s or pregnant or breastfeeding women, and the label advises against it if you take medication. Both tubs are made in a facility that handles milk, soy, egg and nuts.
How long does the bundle last?
The Creatine gives 40 daily scoops; Blood & Guts gives 20 full servings, about five weeks if you train four days a week. You can rebuy either tub on its own, as Dorian Yates The Creatine 400g and Dorian Yates Blood And Guts 380g.
