Each 25 g scoop gives 20 g protein (80% protein) with 91 kcal, 0.73 g fat and 0.56 g sugar. The 2.27 kg bag of Shadowhey holds 90 scoops, so three months at one shake a day.
What does 'hydrolysate' mean?
The whey has been partly broken down into shorter peptides before it's dried, the form people usually pick when standard whey sits heavy after training. It still counts as protein in the normal way.
What else is in it besides whey?
Per scoop the label lists 750 mg collagen, 208 mg calcium HMB, 7.5 mg inulin and 5 mg lactase enzyme, plus 11.25 mg iron (80% NRV) and 8.33 mg zinc (83% NRV). Count the iron and zinc if you take a multivitamin or have two shakes a day.
