Your questions, answered
How much does the bottle hold, and is it marked?
It holds 1,000 ml. The side has millilitre markings from 100 to 1,000 ml and an ounce scale up to 30 oz, so two fills of the Applied Nutrition bottle make two litres.
Is it really leak-proof?
The flip-top lid has a silicone spout and a lock, and keeping the lock engaged when it's in your bag is what stops leaks. Make sure the lid is screwed down fully after refilling.
Can I put hot drinks in it?
No — Applied Nutrition's product information says not to use it with hot liquids. It's made for cold water and squash.
Is it BPA-free?
Yes — Applied Nutrition's listing describes the bottle as BPA-free plastic, with a silicone spout.
How should I clean it?
Wash the bottle, lid and spout in warm soapy water and let them air-dry; we haven't seen a dishwasher-safe statement, so hand washing is the safe choice. Rinse it before first use.
Can I use it for protein shakes?
You can, but there's no mixing grill, so powder clumps and lingers in the spout. The Applied Nutrition ABE Shaker 400ml, which we also stock, has a mesh grill for shakes; keep the Lifestyle bottle for water.

Same-day dispatch
Order before 3:45pm Monday–Friday for same-day dispatch. Order before 12pm Saturday for Saturday dispatch.
Weekend orders
Orders placed after 12pm Saturday or anytime on Sunday will be dispatched on Monday (or the next working day after a bank holiday), regardless of delivery service selected.
