Your questions, answered
Is 400ml big enough for a protein shake?
Yes for a single scoop with about 250-300ml of water or milk, which leaves space for the powder to move. If you make double-scoop shakes, one of our 700ml Trec Nutrition shakers gives you more room.
What does the mesh grill do?
It's an insert under the lid that the drink is forced through as you shake, breaking up clumps of protein or pre-workout powder. Add the liquid first and the powder second for the smoothest mix in the ABE Shaker.
Will it leak in my gym bag?
Not when it's closed properly: the lid screws onto the cup and the drinking spout has its own clip cap. Check the lid is screwed on straight and the cap has snapped shut before you pack it.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Yes, the ABE Shaker is dishwasher safe. Take the mesh grill out and wash it separately, because that's where powder residue collects and starts to smell.
Is the plastic BPA-free?
Retailer listings for the 400ml ABE Shaker describe it as BPA-free, food-grade plastic. It's made for cold or room-temperature shakes, so mix hot drinks in a mug instead.

All orders are sent with 24h tracked delivery.
Same-day dispatch
Order before 3:45pm Monday–Friday for same-day dispatch. Order before 12pm Saturday for Saturday dispatch.
Weekend orders
Orders placed after 12pm Saturday or anytime on Sunday will be dispatched on Monday (or the next working day after a bank holiday), regardless of delivery service selected.
