How much caffeine is in each capsule?
200mg of anhydrous caffeine, plus 50mg of grapefruit extract standardised to 49mg naringenin. That's about the caffeine in two mugs of instant coffee.
What's the most I can take in a day?
Two capsules (400mg caffeine) is the label's daily portion. Count coffee, tea, energy drinks and pre-workouts towards that total, and leave Caffeine 200 Plus out late in the day if you want to sleep.
Why does it contain grapefruit extract?
Trec adds naringenin, a compound from grapefruit, alongside the caffeine; it has no authorised health claim. Grapefruit can interact with some prescription medicines, so check with a pharmacist first if you take any.
Who shouldn't take it?
It's an adults-only product: high-caffeine supplements aren't recommended for children or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Check with your GP first if you have a medical condition or are sensitive to caffeine.
How long does a tub of 60 last?
60 days at one capsule a day, or 30 days at the two-capsule maximum. The capsules are gelatine, so Caffeine 200 Plus isn't suitable for vegetarians.
Trec Caffeine 200 Plus or ESSENSEY Caffeine?
Both give 200mg of caffeine per capsule. ESSENSEY Caffeine comes in a 120-capsule tub, while Trec's Endurance version adds grapefruit extract and comes in 60s.
