Your questions, answered
Is one 100ml bottle one serving?
No. A serving is 50 ml, half a bottle, drunk about 30 minutes before your workout, and the label allows one serving a day. So the pack of 12 gives 24 servings; once a bottle is open, keep the rest in the fridge.
How much caffeine is in a Boogieman Shot?
200 mg of caffeine per 50 ml serving, so a whole 100 ml bottle would be 400 mg. That's why the label limits you to one 50 ml serving a day, says not to combine it with other caffeine products and not to take it close to bedtime.
What else is in a serving?
Per 50 ml: 2,500 mg beta-alanine, 1,000 mg taurine, 1,000 mg L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (650 mg L-arginine), 1,000 mg L-citrulline malate (560 mg L-citrulline), 200 mg caffeine and 100 mg inosine. It's sweetened with acesulfame K, sucralose and neotame.
Why do my face and hands tingle after drinking it?
That's the beta-alanine. The Trec label notes that more than 800 mg of beta-alanine in one go can cause tingling and numbness, and each 50 ml serving has 2,500 mg.
Who shouldn't drink it?
The label says it isn't for under-18s, pregnant or breastfeeding women, people sensitive to caffeine or anyone with circulatory problems. Don't drink it with alcohol.
