Your questions, answered
What does the strainer do?
The built-in strainer sits under the lid and breaks up clumps as you shake, so you get an even shake without dropping in a mixing ball. It's especially handy for whey and for gritty pre-workout powders.
Will the black Boogieman shaker leak?
Not when it's closed properly: both the cap and the lid are threaded, so they screw down to a tight seal. Check the strainer is sitting flat before you screw the lid on, because a tilted strainer is the usual cause of drips.
Why is it made from flexible plastic?
The Boogieman shaker is made from a slightly flexible material rather than brittle hard plastic, so it copes better with being dropped or squashed in a gym bag.
Is 700 ml enough for a pre-workout?
Easily. A pre-workout scoop in 250 to 300 ml of water leaves more than half the bottle free, which is plenty of room for the strainer to do its job.
How do I clean it?
Unscrew the lid, lift out the strainer and wash all three parts separately in warm soapy water. Protein residue collects in the strainer mesh, so give it a quick brush.
How is it different from the other Boogieman shakers?
It's the all-black version, with the Trec logo and Boogieman lettering in red. We also stock the classic Boogieman shaker and a red Boogieman shaker, all 700 ml and inspired by Trec's Boogieman pre-workout.

Same-day dispatch
Order before 3:45pm Monday–Friday for same-day dispatch. Order before 12pm Saturday for Saturday dispatch.
Weekend orders
Orders placed after 12pm Saturday or anytime on Sunday will be dispatched on Monday (or the next working day after a bank holiday), regardless of delivery service selected.
