How much do I give my child?
Children aged 4 to 12 take 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of Liquid Kid's Multi a day; children aged 1 to 3 take half a teaspoon. Shake the bottle hard first and stir the dose into juice, water or another drink.
How long does a 237 ml bottle last?
48 days for a child aged 4 to 12 on a teaspoon a day, or about 94 days for a toddler on half a teaspoon. Keep Liquid Kid's Multi in the fridge once it's open.
What's in a teaspoon?
Each 5 ml gives 24 mcg vitamin D3, 750 mcg vitamin A, 100 mg vitamin C, 20 mg vitamin E and the B vitamins (including 9 mcg B12 and 375 mcg folic acid), plus 5 mg zinc, 20 mcg selenium, 2 mg manganese and Trace Minerals' ConcenTrace mineral drops.
What does it do for children?
Vitamin D is needed for normal growth and development of bone in children, and vitamins A, C, D, B6 and B12, folate, zinc and selenium contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
What does it taste like, and how much sugar is there?
It's a tropical punch flavour made with pineapple, peach and pear juice concentrates, cane sugar and stevia. A teaspoon has 2 g of sugar and 10 calories, so it's best given with breakfast rather than after teeth are brushed at night.
Is Liquid Kid's Multi free from common allergens?
The label lists no known allergens, and Trace sells it as gluten-free and certified vegetarian. It's preserved with potassium sorbate and potassium benzoate.
