What's in PanOxyl PM?
4% niacinamide, plus ceramides, hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate), centella asiatica (cica) and vitamin E, in a lightweight gel-cream. Unlike PanOxyl's washes, it contains no benzoyl peroxide.
How do I use it?
At night, as the last step of your routine: cleanse, apply any treatment and let it absorb, then smooth an even layer over your face and neck. Use it every evening.
Can I use it with benzoyl peroxide or adapalene?
Yes — PanOxyl PM is formulated for acne-prone skin, to soothe and restore moisture levels that strong treatments can strip. Layer it on once PanOxyl Adapalene Gel 0.1% or your treatment has absorbed, or after a benzoyl peroxide wash.
Will it clog pores or feel greasy?
PanOxyl describes it as non-greasy and says it won't clog pores. Niacinamide helps control excess oil and minimises the look of pores, so it suits oily, blemish-prone skin as well as dry patches.
Is it fragrance-free?
Retailer copies of the ingredient list show no added fragrance or parabens. If your skin is sensitive, patch test first, keep it out of your eyes and stop if irritation develops.
PM or AM moisturiser?
PanOxyl PM is the night formula, with 4% niacinamide and ceramides but no sunscreen. PanOxyl AM Oil Control Moisturizer, which we also stock, adds SPF 30 mineral protection for daytime, so the two cover morning and night.
