How to use it

How much vitamin A and E is in a serving?
Six drops give 800 µg of vitamin A (100% of the NRV) and 36 mg of vitamin E (300% of the NRV). That's the whole daily serving of OstroVit Pharma Vitamin A+E drops.
How long does a 30ml bottle last?
About 175 servings, so close to six months at six drops a day. That makes it one of the cheapest ways to take these two vitamins day to day.
How do I take the drops?
Shake the bottle, then take six drops once a day with food, either straight from the dropper or stirred into water or juice. Vitamins A and E are fat-soluble, so having them with a meal makes sense.
What do vitamins A and E do?
Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and normal vision and to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Can I take it alongside a multivitamin or fish liver oil?
Check the labels first: six drops already give the full adult NRV of vitamin A, and cod liver oil and many multivitamins add more. Don't exceed the stated daily serving of the A+E drops.
Is it suitable in pregnancy?
Speak to your GP or midwife before taking it if you're pregnant, trying for a baby or breastfeeding, because each serving supplies the full adult NRV of vitamin A. The same applies if you take regular medication.
Vitamin A+E drops or OstroVit ADEK tablets?
The A+E drops are just two vitamins dosed by the drop, handy if you don't like swallowing tablets. OstroVit ADEK 200 tablets, which we also stock, add vitamins D and K in a tablet.
