How long does the 60-capsule bottle last?
30 days for women at two capsules a day, or 15 days for men at two capsules twice a day. If you use the label's intensive (double) dose, halve those figures.
What's in a two-capsule serving?
100 mg of Indolplex BR-DIM complex, Nature's Way's formulated diindolylmethane, and 100 mg of a Protectamins vegetable blend of spinach, broccoli and cabbage. DIM has no authorised health claims in the UK, so we list what DIM-plus contains rather than what it might do.
Why is BR-DIM described as 'enhanced absorption'?
That's Nature's Way's description of its BR-DIM complex, which combines DIM with tocophersolan (a vitamin E derivative), phosphatidylcholine and modified starch. Those ingredients are listed on the label as other ingredients.
Why are the capsules white?
Nature's Way uses a white vegetarian capsule to protect the BR-DIM from light. On the label version shown on our page, the colour comes from titanium dioxide in the hypromellose capsule.
Should I take DIM-plus with food?
Yes, the label says to take each two-capsule serving with food. Men split their four capsules into two servings, for example at breakfast and dinner.
Is the change in urine colour a problem?
No, the label calls it harmless but noticeable, so it's expected while you take DIM-plus. The label also says not to use it if you're pregnant, nursing or trying to conceive, and to ask a healthcare professional first if you take any medication.
60 or 120 capsules, or Source Naturals DIM?
The 60-count is a one-month trial for women; for men, the 120-count Nature's Way DIM-plus is better value. Source Naturals DIM 100mg, which we also stock, is a one-a-day tablet with 100 mg DIM, soy lecithin and BioPerine.
