How the Hormone Balance Bundle Works
Myo-Inositol is already a cornerstone ingredient in OvaBoost, our popular food supplement for promoting egg quality, which also contains a blend of antioxidants including CoQ10, Vitamin E, and alpha-lipoic acid. While OvaBoost provides a daily dose of 2 grams of Myo-Inositol it is sometimes recommended that women take up to 4 grams of Myo-Inositol per day, to maximize the benefit of this supplement for reproductive health and fertility. What comes in the Hormone Balance Bundle?
One bottle each of Fairhaven Health FertilAid for Women (90 capsules), OvaBoost for Women (120 capsules) and Myo-Inositol (120 capsules). Each lasts 30 days at its own label serving, so the bundle is a one-month routine.
How many capsules is that a day?
Eleven in total: 3 FertilAid for Women, 4 OvaBoost and 4 Myo-Inositol. Many women split them between breakfast and the evening meal rather than taking them all at once.
How much myo-inositol does the bundle give?
4,000mg a day: 2,000mg from OvaBoost's four capsules and another 2,000mg from four 500mg Myo-Inositol capsules. Myo-inositol has no authorised health claim in the UK, so we describe the amounts rather than promise results.
What does each product add?
FertilAid for Women is the preconception multivitamin, with methylfolate, vitamin D3, iron, iodine, chasteberry and red clover. OvaBoost adds myo-inositol, 150mg alpha lipoic acid, 30mg CoQ10, 60mg grape seed extract and 67mg vitamin E. Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
When should I stop taking the bundle?
Fairhaven says to stop once a test confirms pregnancy and move to a prenatal vitamin. None of the three is meant for breastfeeding, and you shouldn't add another multivitamin on top of FertilAid.
Can I take it with medication?
Check with your GP or fertility clinic first, especially if you take Clomid, other prescription medicine, antidepressants, anti-anxiety medication or St John's wort. Fairhaven notes that large amounts of myo-inositol may add to the effects of SSRIs, and this bundle doubles the usual amount.
Hormone Balance or TTC Boost Bundle?
Both include FertilAid for Women and OvaBoost. This bundle adds standalone Myo-Inositol for a 4,000mg daily total, while the TTC Boost Bundle adds FertileCM instead. All three bottles here use vegetarian cellulose capsules.
