One capsule gives 50mcg (2000 IU) of vitamin D3, 1000% of the reference intake, and 75mcg of vitamin K2 as MK-7 (menaquinone-7), 100% of the reference intake.
How do I take it?
One capsule a day with water, during or straight after a meal. Both vitamins are fat-soluble, and the capsule is filled with MCT oil.
How long does a tub last?
90 days at one capsule a day. Once opened, Essensey says to use it within 3 months, which matches.
What do vitamins D and K do?
Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and the maintenance of normal bones.
Can I take it with blood thinners?
Not with warfarin-type medicines — the label says it should not be taken by anyone on vitamin K antagonist anticoagulants such as warfarin or acenocoumarol. If you take any other blood thinner, check with your GP or pharmacist first.
