What's in Dramamine Non-Drowsy?
Each 2-capsule serving contains 1,000mg ginger root (Zingiber officinale), cleaned, milled and encapsulated, with no antihistamine. The pack of 18 capsules gives 9 adult servings.
When and how much do I take?
The label says to take your dose half an hour before you set off. Adults and children 12 and over take 2 capsules, up to 4 in 24 hours; children aged 6 to under 12 take 1 capsule, up to 2 in 24 hours.
Will it make me drowsy?
It's ginger only, without the sedating antihistamine (dimenhydrinate) in Dramamine Original Formula, which is why it's called Non-Drowsy. Ginger has no authorised health claims in the UK, so we describe the product rather than promise results.
I can't swallow capsules. What can I do?
The label says you can open the capsule and pour the ginger onto a spoon or into food or drink. That's handy for children aged 6 to 11 on the 1-capsule dose.
Who should check with a doctor first?
Ask a doctor before use if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication, have any medical condition, or have severe or persistent vomiting. Keep the pack out of children's reach.
Is it vegetarian?
No — the capsule shell is gelatine. The only other ingredients are vegetable magnesium stearate and silica.
Non-Drowsy or another Dramamine?
