What is Arnica Montana 200CK used for?
Boiron's US labelling lists Arnica Montana for muscle pain and stiffness from minor injuries, overexertion and falls, for swelling from injuries and for bruising. Boiron states these uses are based on traditional homeopathic practice, not accepted medical evidence.
How do I take the pellets?
Adults and children: at the onset of symptoms, dissolve 5 pellets under the tongue 3 times a day until symptoms are relieved, or as a doctor directs. Twist the cap to release pellets so you don't need to touch them.
What does 200CK mean?
It's a homeopathic dilution: 200 successive 1-in-100 dilutions, with the K showing the Korsakovian method was used. 200CK is far more dilute than Boiron's 30C, but the label directions are the same.
How many doses are in one tube?
About 80 pellets, so roughly 16 doses of 5, which is just over five days at three doses a day.
When should I stop and see a doctor?
Stop and ask a doctor if symptoms last more than 3 days or get worse. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before using Arnica Montana 200CK, and don't use it if the pellet dispenser seal is broken.
Can I take it if I avoid lactose?
No. The pellets are made of lactose and sucrose, with 0.443 mg of the active ingredient per pellet, so they aren't suitable if you need to avoid lactose.
200CK, 30C or Arnicare Gel?
Boiron Arnica Montana 30C, which we stock singly or as a 3-tube pack, is the same remedy at a lower dilution. Boiron Arnicare Gel 120g is arnica you apply to the skin instead of taking pellets.
