Boiron's US label lists Arnica Montana for muscle pain and stiffness, swelling from injuries and discolouration from bruises. Boiron states these uses are based on traditional homeopathic practice, not accepted medical evidence.
How do I take the pellets?
At the onset of symptoms, dissolve 5 pellets under the tongue three times a day until symptoms are relieved, or as a doctor directs. The tube dispenses pellets through the cap, so you don't need to touch them.
How many doses are in one tube?
One tube of Arnica Montana 30C holds about 80 pellets, which is roughly 16 doses of 5, or just over five days at three doses a day.
Can children take Arnica 30C?
The directions give the same dose for adults and children. Keep the tube out of children's reach, and if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use.
When should I stop and see a doctor?
Stop and ask a doctor if symptoms last more than 3 days or get worse. Don't use the tube if the pellet dispenser seal is broken.
What does 30C mean, and what are the pellets made of?
30C is a homeopathic dilution: following homeopathic practice, the arnica preparation is diluted 1 in 100, thirty times over. The pellets themselves are lactose and sucrose, so they aren't suitable if you must avoid lactose.
