What is Boiron Arnica 30C used for?
According to Boiron's label, Arnica Montana 30C is a homeopathic medicine that temporarily relieves muscle pain and stiffness from minor injuries, overexertion and falls, and reduces the pain, swelling and discolouration of bruises. Boiron states that these uses are based on traditional homeopathic practice, not accepted medical evidence.
How do I take the pellets?
At the first sign of symptoms, dissolve 5 pellets under the tongue 3 times a day until symptoms are relieved, or as a doctor directs. Twist the tube cap to drop the pellets straight into your mouth without handling them.
How many doses are in the 3-tube pack?
Each tube holds about 80 pellets, so at 5 pellets a dose you get about 16 doses per tube and 48 doses across the pack. At the full 3 doses a day, one tube lasts about five days.
Can children take Arnica 30C?
Yes, the directions are the same for adults and children: 5 pellets, 3 times a day. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before use.
When should I stop and see a doctor?
Stop and ask a doctor if symptoms last more than 3 days or get worse, if new symptoms appear, or if there is redness or swelling. The label warns these could be signs of a serious condition.
Is it suitable if I'm lactose intolerant?
Check first: the pellets are made from lactose and sucrose, the only inactive ingredients on the label. Each pellet weighs about 0.44 mg, so a 5-pellet dose is a very small amount.
