Is this a day and night formula?
No. Despite the 'Day & Night' listing name, the 6PAK Vitamin Elite label says to take one clear vitamin capsule and one black mineral capsule together, once a day with 300ml of water. The box holds 30 of each, so it lasts 30 days.
Why are there two kinds of capsule?
The vitamins and minerals are kept apart: the clear capsule holds the 12 vitamins and the black capsule the 10 minerals. Together they make one daily serving, so don't take more than two capsules a day.
What's in a daily serving?
Highlights include 400mg vitamin C (500% of the NRV), 11µg vitamin D (220%), 19mg thiamin, 6mg vitamin B6, 5.6µg vitamin B12, 450µg folic acid, 168mg magnesium (45%), 14mg iron, 10mg zinc, 55µg selenium and 150µg iodine.
What does it do?
Vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc contribute to the normal function of the immune system, and folate, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C and iron contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin D also contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function.
Is it suitable for vegetarians?
No. The vitamin capsule is plant-based, but the black mineral capsule is made from gelatine. 6PAK Vitamin Elite may also contain milk, soya, gluten, fish and peanuts.
Who shouldn't take it?
The label says it's not for pregnant or breastfeeding women or under-18s. Each serving has 14mg iron and 716µg vitamin A, so check with a pharmacist before combining it with another multivitamin or iron supplement.
How is it different from Trec Multipack Sport Day/Night?
