Your questions, answered
What's in a serving of each?
A 10g serving of BCAA High Speed gives 3,000mg leucine, 1,500mg valine and 1,500mg isoleucine. Four L-Glutamine Micronized T6 capsules give 2,560mg L-glutamine, 640mg taurine and 1.6mg vitamin B6.
How many glutamine capsules a day?
Twelve, taken as three servings of four, which adds up to 7,680mg glutamine and 1,920mg taurine. On training days take them on waking, straight after training and at bedtime; on rest days, on waking, between meals and at bedtime.
How long does the Trec Recovery Stack last?
BCAA High Speed lasts 25 days at two 10g servings a day, and the 240 T6 capsules last 20 days at twelve a day. Using one BCAA serving a day stretches the jar to 50 days.
Do BCAAs or glutamine have authorised claims?
No, neither does. The vitamin B6 in L-Glutamine T6, 4.8mg a day, contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Do I still need protein powder?
Yes — BCAAs are three of the nine essential amino acids, not a complete protein. Protein from meals or a shake is what contributes to a growth in muscle mass.
Which BCAA flavours are there?
Lemon, Cactus, Cherry-Grape and Cola, all sweetened with sucralose and free of caffeine. Mix 10g into 300ml of water; Trec suggests one serving 30 minutes before and one straight after training.
Who shouldn't use the stack?
Trec says both products aren't for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women. The T6 capsules have a plant-based HPMC shell and may contain milk, soy, gluten, fish and peanuts.
