What's in a daily serving of BCAA G-Force 1150?
Trec's label gives 8,928mg of BCAAs in the 12-capsule daily serving (6,252mg leucine, 1,788mg valine and 888mg isoleucine) plus 3,576mg of L-glutamine. By weight that's 60% BCAAs and 24% glutamine per capsule.
How do I take the capsules?
Six capsules with 300ml of water, twice a day. On training days take the first six 30 minutes before you train and the second six straight after; on rest days take one serving when you wake up and one before bed.
How long does the 360-capsule tub last?
30 days at the full 12 capsules a day, or 60 sessions if you only take one six-capsule serving per workout. Trec BCAA G-Force 180 Caps is the same product in a half-size tub.
Why is there so much more leucine than valine and isoleucine?
Leucine makes up about 70% of the BCAAs in G-Force 1150 (6,252mg of 8,928mg a day), well above the classic 2:1:1 split. BCAAs and glutamine have no authorised health claims in the UK, so we give you the amounts rather than promise results.
Capsules or Trec BCAA High Speed powder?
Capsules need no shaker and have no taste, which suits fasted morning sessions and gym bags. If swallowing 12 capsules a day doesn't appeal, Trec BCAA High Speed 500g is the powder you stir into water as a flavoured drink.
Are the capsules vegetarian?
Trec's current ingredient list uses a hypromellose (plant cellulose) capsule shell, but older tubs used gelatine, so check the label on yours. The label also says the capsules may contain milk, soy, gluten, fish, molluscs and peanuts.
Who shouldn't take BCAA G-Force?
The label says it isn't for children or for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and it doesn't replace a varied diet. Once opened, finish the tub within 3 months.
