How many capsules a day?
Two capsules twice a day, 30 minutes before a meal, so four capsules is the full daily portion. At that rate the 60-capsule tub lasts 15 days.
How much caffeine is in it?
152mg per two-capsule serving and 304mg across the four-capsule day, coming from 900mg of guarana extract. Add up coffee, tea, energy drinks and pre-workouts on top, and skip the second serving late in the day if caffeine keeps you awake.
What else is in Thermo Fat Burner Max?
Per four capsules: 800mg L-carnitine tartrate, 300mg green tea extract (55% EGCG), 162mg L-tyrosine, 120mg green coffee extract, 100mg grapefruit extract, 10mg black pepper extract (95% piperine) and 80µg chromium.
Will it make me lose weight?
Not on its own, and none of its ingredients has an authorised weight-loss claim in the UK. The authorised claim that does apply is that chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.
Who should avoid it?
With 304mg caffeine a day it's not recommended for children or pregnant women. Check with your GP first if you're sensitive to caffeine, have a heart or blood pressure condition, or take any medication, as grapefruit extract can interact with some medicines.
Can I take it with a pre-workout?
Be careful: most pre-workouts also contain caffeine, and stacking them can take you past 400mg a day, the most EFSA considers safe for healthy adults. On those days, drop one serving of Thermo Fat Burner Max.
