Your questions, answered
How much protein is in a serving?
A 30g serving (about 1.5 scoops) gives 25.7g of protein, 0.8g carbohydrate, 0.1g sugars and 0.1g fat, for 107 kcal. Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass.
How do I mix Isolate 100?
Shake 30g into 200ml of water or milk. Trec suggests up to three servings a day (on training days: on waking, within 1.5 hours after training and before bed) and no more than 90g a day.
How many servings are in each jar?
About 23 servings in the 700g jar and 66 in the 2000g jar, at 30g each. At one shake a day, the 2000g lasts just over two months.
Isolate 100 or Whey 100?
Isolate 100 is cross-flow microfiltered (CFM) whey isolate with under 1g of carbohydrate per serving, for when your macros are tight. Trec Nutrition Whey 100, which we stock in 900g and 2275g, is the lower-cost everyday whey.
Can I drink it if I'm lactose intolerant?
Many lactose-sensitive people find isolate easier than regular whey, as filtering removes most of the lactose and Isolate 100 has just 0.1g of sugars per serving. Trec doesn't publish a lactose figure, though, and it's a milk product, so avoid it with a milk allergy.
What allergens and sweetener does it contain?
It contains milk and is sweetened with sucralose; it may contain soy, gluten, fish, molluscs and peanuts, and the Chocolate-Peanut Butter flavour uses peanut flavouring. Trec says Isolate 100 isn't intended for children or for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
