How much ashwagandha is in each tablet?
Each Trec Ashwagandha Ultra tablet contains 800mg of KSM-66 ashwagandha root extract standardised to 5% withanolides, which is 40mg of withanolides. One tablet is the daily portion.
Is it really KSM-66?
Yes, the label lists KSM-66 Ashwagandha root extract (Withania somnifera), the branded full-spectrum root extract. It makes up 53% of each 1,500mg tablet.
The tablet is big; can I break it?
Yes, it has score lines so it can be split into four pieces of 200mg each. Take the pieces together with about 250ml of water, preferably with a meal, and don't exceed one tablet a day.
How long does a tub last?
60 days at one tablet a day.
Ashwagandha Ultra, KSM-66 capsules or Ashwagandha Max?
Ashwagandha Ultra packs 800mg of KSM-66 into one tablet, four times the 200mg of KSM-66 in each Trec Ashwagandha KSM-66 capsule. Trec Ashwagandha Max uses a different, non-KSM-66 extract at 335mg with 9% withanolides.
Who shouldn't take it?
The label says not to use it with sedatives, sleeping tablets or anti-epileptic medicines, and it isn't for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women. If you have a thyroid or liver condition, speak to your GP before starting.
What does ashwagandha do?
Ashwagandha has no authorised health claims in the UK, so we give you the dose rather than promise effects. It's a traditional Ayurvedic root that many people now take daily alongside training.
