What's in a 10 g serving?
About 4.5 g of essential amino acids, including 1,298 mg leucine, 865 mg valine and 665 mg isoleucine, plus citrulline malate, 500 mg taurine and 0.95 mg vitamin B6.
Does Amino EAA contain all nine essential amino acids?
No — it lists eight: leucine, valine, isoleucine, lysine, phenylalanine, methionine, threonine and tryptophan. Histidine isn't in the formula.
How do I take it?
Mix 10 g (2 scoops) into 300 ml of water, twice a day: 30 minutes before and after training, or after waking and between meals on rest days. The label says not to take it on an empty stomach or at bedtime.
How long does the 300 g jar last?
30 servings of 10 g, so 15 days at the label's two servings a day, or 30 days if you have one serving a day.
What does the vitamin B6 do?
Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue; each serving gives 0.95 mg. The amino acids themselves have no authorised health claim, so we stick to the doses.
White Cola or Lemonade?
Trec Amino EAA comes in White Cola and Lemonade 300 g jars, both of which we stock. White Cola is a clear-cola flavour, sweetened with sucralose.
Who shouldn't take it?
The label says children and pregnant or breastfeeding women must not take Amino EAA. It may contain traces of milk, soy, wheat, barley, oats, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts.
