What's in a 10g serving?
4.5 g of essential amino acids (1,298 mg leucine, 865 mg valine, 665 mg isoleucine, 575 mg lysine, 479 mg phenylalanine, 287 mg each of methionine and threonine, 77 mg tryptophan) plus 500 mg L-citrulline, 500 mg taurine and 0.95 mg vitamin B6.
Does Amino EAA contain all nine essential amino acids?
No, it has eight. The label lists every essential amino acid except histidine, so it's not a complete EAA profile, though it does include all three BCAAs.
How do I take it?
Two scoops (10 g) in 300 ml of water, twice a day. On training days have one portion 30 minutes before training and one afterwards; on rest days, one when you get up and one between meals.
How long does the 300g jar last?
30 portions of 10 g, which is 15 days at the label's two portions a day, or a month if you use one per session. Use it within 3 months of opening.
What does the vitamin B6 do?
Each 10 g portion of Trec Amino EAA has 0.95 mg vitamin B6, 68% of the reference intake. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Who shouldn't take it, and what's it sweetened with?
The label says it's not for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women, and it may contain milk, soy, gluten, fish and peanuts. It's sweetened with sucralose and uses maltodextrin as the carrier.
Lemonade or White Cola?
The same Amino EAA formula in both jars, and we stock both. Lemonade is the sharper, citrus one for cold water; White Cola is the soft-drink flavour.
