How much magnesium is in each stick?
Each 3g packet gives 120mg of magnesium as magnesium glycinate, 32% of the UK reference intake, plus 50mg of ConcenTrace trace minerals. The box of 30 lasts a month at one a day.
When should I take it?
Mix one packet into 60–240ml (2–8oz) of water and dilute to taste. Trace Minerals recommends having it 30–60 minutes before bed, so it's an easy evening drink to pack for trips.
What does magnesium contribute to?
Magnesium contributes to normal psychological function, normal functioning of the nervous system, normal muscle function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Can I take more than one packet?
The box allows extra servings, but warns that too much magnesium may have a laxative effect. If that happens, go back to one Magnesium Glycinate stick a day.
What's in it besides magnesium?
Citric acid, stevia (steviol glycosides), natural orange and vanilla flavours, beta-carotene for colour and silicon dioxide. The box is marked Certified Vegan and gluten-free, with no known allergens.
Why is the powder lumpy?
Minor crystallisation can happen, and Trace says it doesn't affect quality. Squeeze the stick before opening to break it up.
