What's in each Watermelon stick?
Each 6.1g stick gives 1,200mg vitamin C, 25mcg vitamin D3, 10mg vitamin B6, 25mcg vitamin B12, folate as 150mcg L-methylfolate, 100mg magnesium, 200mg potassium, 75mg sodium, 5mg zinc and 100mg ConcenTrace trace minerals, for 5 calories.
What gives it its colour and sweetness?
The colour comes from Exberry cherry red and beetroot rather than artificial dyes. It is sweetened with 1g of organic cane sugar plus the stevia sweeteners Reb A and Reb M, with natural flavours for the watermelon taste.
How do I mix it?
Tip one stick into a glass of water and add more water until it tastes right; a fuller glass makes it less sharp. The box of 30 is a month at one stick a day.
Can I have two on a hot or heavy training day?
We would stick to one Power Pak a day: each stick already has 10mg of vitamin B6, the most UK guidance suggests taking daily from supplements. For extra sweat sessions, add a mineral-only product such as Trace Minerals Electrolyte Stamina Tablets.
What do the vitamins and minerals do?
Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise, and folate and vitamin B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance.
Is it vegan and caffeine-free?
Yes. The box carries Certified Vegan and Gluten Free marks and states no known allergens, and the Watermelon Power Pak contains no caffeine, so it works as an evening drink too.
