What's in each tablet?
200mcg of chromium as chromium polynicotinate (ChromeMate) and 1mg of vanadium as bis-glycinato-oxo-vanadium, with microcrystalline cellulose and stearic acid. 200mcg is 500% of the UK reference intake for chromium.
How many do I take, and how long does a bottle last?
One tablet a day with food, per the Source Naturals label. That makes the 90-tablet bottle a 90-day supply and the 180-tablet bottle about six months.
What does chromium do?
Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. Vanadium has no authorised health claims in the UK, so we don't make any for it.
Is Vanadium with Chromium a tablet or a liquid?
A tablet, to swallow once a day with a meal. If you'd prefer drops you can add to a drink, Ultra Lyte Ionic Chromium 60ml is the liquid chromium we stock.
Can I take it with diabetes medication?
Check with your GP or pharmacist first. The label asks anyone who is diabetic or has a glucose metabolism disorder to consult a health professional before using Vanadium with Chromium, so they can review it alongside your treatment.
Is it suitable in pregnancy or for teenagers?
Ask a health professional first if you're pregnant, may become pregnant or are breastfeeding, as the label says. It's an adult product and not intended for children.
How does it compare with a plain chromium supplement?
ESSENSEY Chromium 120 Veggie Caps, which we also stock, is chromium on its own in a vegetarian capsule. Source Naturals adds 1mg of vanadium per tablet, so choose by whether you want the vanadium.

Weekend orders
