What's in a serving of MgZB Ultra?
Three tablets give 375 mg magnesium as magnesium citrate (100% RI), 15 mg zinc as zinc picolinate (150% RI) and 2 mg vitamin B6 (143% RI).
When should I take it?
All three tablets once a day, before bedtime, as the label directs. Stick to three: larger amounts of magnesium can loosen the stools.
How long does the 120-tablet tub last?
40 nights at three tablets a day.
Is MgZB Ultra stronger than standard MgZB?
No — going by OstroVit's labels, MgZB 90 tablets has the same 375 mg magnesium, 15 mg zinc and 2 mg B6 per three tablets. MgZB Ultra simply holds 120 tablets (40 servings) instead of 90 (30 servings).
What do magnesium, zinc and B6 do?
Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, zinc to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood, and vitamin B6 to the regulation of hormonal activity.
Can I take it with a multivitamin?
Check the zinc first: MgZB Ultra already gives 15 mg, and adding a multivitamin with more zinc can take you past the 25 mg a day of supplemental zinc that UK experts consider safe long term.
Is it vegan?
Yes, OstroVit lists it as vegan. It may contain milk, soya, peanuts, nuts, gluten, eggs, celery, mustard, crustaceans and fish, and it isn't for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women.
