How to use it
Mix one serving (5 g, approximately 1 scoop) in 100-150 ml of water or juice. On workout days, consume 30 minutes before training to maximize its benefits. Please note that the product has a natural bitter taste, which can be masked by mixing it with juice or flavored beverages.

How much AAKG is in one scoop?
One 5g scoop gives 4,400mg L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, of which 2,900mg is L-arginine. The 200g tub of OstroVit A-AKG holds 40 servings.
How and when should I take it?
Mix one 5g scoop into 100–150ml of water or juice and drink it about 30 minutes before training. That scoop is the full daily serving, so don't take more than one a day.
Why does the lemon flavour still taste bitter?
Arginine has a naturally bitter taste that the lemon flavouring and sweeteners (sucralose and acesulfame K) only partly cover. Mixing A-AKG into juice or a flavoured drink hides it better than plain water.
Does it contain caffeine or other stimulants?
No. The ingredients are just L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate, flavouring, citric acid and the two sweeteners, so it suits evening sessions; AAKG has no authorised health claim in the UK, so we describe the dose rather than promise a pump.
Who shouldn't take OstroVit A-AKG?
The label says it is not for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women, and asks you to consult a doctor before using it for a long period. It is made where milk, soy, peanuts, other nuts, sesame, gluten, eggs, crustaceans and fish are handled, so take care with a severe allergy.
A-AKG or OstroVit Citrulline?
Both are single-amino-acid powders for people who build their own pre-workout: A-AKG gives arginine directly, at 2,900mg per scoop, while OstroVit Citrulline 210g, which we also stock, supplies citrulline, which the body converts into arginine. Many people pick on taste and price, and some take both.
