How much creatine is in a scoop?
Each 5g scoop of ICE Creatine has 4g creatine monohydrate, which provides 3.5g of creatine. The tub front also shows 0g fat and 0g sugar.
Is 3.5g enough to make a difference?
Yes — it's above 3g a day, the intake at which creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise. FA prints that claim on the label.
How do I take it?
FA's directions are one 5g scoop in 150ml of water before training. Very cold water makes the most of the EVERCOOL cooling finish.
How long does the 300g tub last?
60 scoops, so two months at one scoop a day.
Why have I put on weight since starting?
That's expected: FA's label warns that weight increase may be observed with creatine. It's usually extra water stored in muscle along with the creatine.
Who shouldn't take ICE Creatine?
FA recommends it for adults doing high-intensity exercise and says not to use it if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep it out of reach of young children.
