Each 5g portion has 3,000mg creatine monohydrate, 1,000mg dextrose and 250mg taurine, and that is Trec's full daily portion. The 300g tub holds 60 portions, so it lasts two months at one a day.
Does Creatine Sport reach the 3g creatine level?
Not quite: 3,000mg of creatine monohydrate supplies about 2.6g of creatine itself. Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise, with the effect obtained from 3g of creatine a day, so if that is your aim, Trec Nutrition Creatine 100% gives 3.36g per 5g scoop.
Why does it contain dextrose and taurine?
They are part of Trec's Endurance-line recipe: dextrose is a simple sugar (1g, about 4 calories per portion) and taurine is an amino acid. Neither has an authorised health claim, so Creatine Sport isn't sugar-free and we don't credit them with any effect.
