What is SinusCalm Allergy used for?
The label says it temporarily relieves sinus symptoms due to allergies: nasal congestion, sinus pain, headache and sinus pressure. It's a homeopathic medicine, and those uses are based on traditional homeopathic practice rather than clinical evidence.
How do I take it?
Adults and children 6 and over dissolve 2 tablets under the tongue every 2 hours at the onset of symptoms, up to 6 times a day, taking them less often as things improve. For children under 6, ask a doctor.
How long will 60 tablets last?
Five days at the maximum of 12 tablets a day, and longer once you cut back as symptoms ease.
What are the active ingredients?
Three homeopathic actives at 3C, 0.83mg each per tablet: Belladonna, Sanguinaria canadensis and Spigelia anthelmia. The tablets also contain lactose, croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate.
When should I stop and see a doctor?
Ask a doctor before use if you have a fever, and stop and get advice if symptoms last more than 3 days, get worse or new ones appear. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a health professional before using SinusCalm Allergy.
Can I take it with my hay fever tablets?
Boiron describes SinusCalm Allergy as non-drowsy with no known drug interactions, but if you take other medicines, check with a pharmacist first.
SinusCalm Allergy or regular SinusCalm?
