What is Rhus Tox 30C used for?
The Boiron label says it temporarily relieves symptoms of joint pain, including swollen joints, pain improved by motion, muscle aches, stiffness, and pain made worse by cold, damp weather. Boiron states these claims are based on traditional homeopathic practice, not accepted medical evidence.
How do I take the pellets?
Adults and children: at the onset of symptoms, dissolve 5 pellets under the tongue 3 times a day until symptoms are relieved, or as a doctor directs. No water is needed, and the tube cap dispenses the pellets so you don't have to handle them.
How long do 3 tubes of Rhus Tox last?
Each tube holds about 80 pellets, so the pack has about 240. At the full 15 pellets a day that's roughly 5 days per tube, or 16 days for the pack, though the label says to stop once symptoms are relieved.
What does 30C mean, and what else is in the pellets?
In Rhus Tox 30C, 30C is the homeopathic dilution of Rhus toxicodendron (poison ivy), listed as Rhus tox 30C HPUS in 0.443mg of pellet. The pellets are made of lactose and sucrose, with no artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners or preservatives.
When should I stop and see a doctor?
