What are the two medicines for?
Per Boiron's US labels, Camilia Tummy temporarily relieves gas and colic symptoms such as fussiness, bloating and painful gas, and Camilia Bedtime temporarily relieves night-time teething symptoms such as painful gums and restlessness. Boiron notes these uses are based on traditional homeopathic practice, not accepted medical evidence.
Is Camilia Tummy a teething medicine?
No — its box says Gas & Colic Relief, so this bundle pairs a colic medicine with a night-time teething one. For daytime teething there's classic Camilia, and the Camilia Complete Teething Bundle has all three.
How do I give each one?
Camilia Tummy: one dose when symptoms start, ideally before a feed, repeated after 15 minutes if needed, up to 9 doses a day. Camilia Bedtime: the first dose at bedtime when symptoms start, then the same 15-minute repeat, up to 9 doses in 24 hours.
Can I use both on the same day?
Each label sets its own limit of 9 doses in 24 hours, and neither gives a combined limit for using them together. Ask a pharmacist how to space them if your baby needs both.
From what age, and how is a dose given?
Both are labelled for babies from 1 month. Twist the top off one 1ml vial and, holding your baby upright, squeeze the whole dose into their mouth; there's nothing to rub on the gums, and each dose is 99.999% alcohol-free.
When should I stop and see a doctor?
Stop and ask a doctor if symptoms last more than 3 days or get worse; for Camilia Bedtime also if swelling, fever or rash develops. Don't use either if your baby is allergic to any ingredient.
How do I store the vials, and is the bundle cheaper?
Keep unused vials in their foil pouch, use them within 3 months of opening it, and don't refrigerate or freeze them. The bundle costs 10% less than buying Camilia Tummy and Camilia Bedtime separately.
