What is Camilia Tummy for?
Its US label says Camilia Tummy temporarily relieves gas and colic symptoms such as tummy pain, bloating, fussiness and crying, and excessive or painful gas. Boiron notes the claims are based on traditional homeopathic practice, not accepted medical evidence.
Is Camilia Tummy a teething remedy?
No — it's a separate formula for gas and colic, not teething. For teething, Boiron makes classic Camilia and Camilia Bedtime, and we sell a Camilia + Camilia Tummy bundle if your baby needs both.
How often can I give it?
For babies from 1 month: give one dose when symptoms start, wait 15 minutes and repeat if needed, up to 9 doses a day. The label says it works best given before meals, so before a feed.
How do I give a dose?
Tear the foil pouch open at the notch, snap off one vial, twist the top off and squeeze the whole 1ml into your baby's mouth. Use it straight away, throw the vial away and never reuse one.
What's in each vial?
Four homeopathic actives at 0.25ml each: Carbo vegetabilis 6C, Chamomilla 15C, Colocynthis 9C and Cuprum metallicum 6C, in purified water with 0.0008% alcohol. The box says dye-free and Non-GMO Project Verified.
When should I stop and call a doctor?
Stop and ask a doctor if symptoms last more than 3 days or get worse. Don't use it if your baby has a known allergy to any ingredient.
How should I store the vials?
Don't refrigerate or freeze them. Once the foil pouch is open, keep the unused vials inside it and use them within 3 months; at the 9-a-day maximum, a box of 30 lasts just over 3 days.
