What is Camilia Bedtime for?
Per Boiron's US Drug Facts, Camilia Bedtime is a homeopathic medicine that temporarily relieves night-time teething symptoms such as irritability and restlessness, painful gums and minor digestive upsets associated with teething. Boiron states the claims are based on traditional homeopathic practice, not accepted medical evidence.
How is Camilia Bedtime different from classic Camilia?
It adds Coffea cruda 15C, which the label lists for teething pain associated with restlessness, to classic Camilia's Chamomilla 9C, Phytolacca decandra 5C and Rheum 5C. Its directions start the first dose at bedtime rather than at any time of day.
How do I give a dose at night?
For babies from 1 month, give 1 dose at the onset of symptoms at bedtime, wait 15 minutes and repeat if needed, up to 9 doses in 24 hours. Snap one vial off the strip, twist it open and, holding your baby upright, squeeze the whole 1ml into their mouth.
Can I use classic Camilia in the day and Bedtime at night?
Boiron sells them together, and we stock the Camilia + Camilia Bedtime bundle. Each label sets its own 9-doses-in-24-hours limit, so ask a pharmacist how to space them if you plan to use both on the same day.
What's in each vial apart from the remedies?
Just alcohol and purified water: each dose contains 0.0015% alcohol, which is why the box says 99.999% alcohol-free. There's nothing to rub on the gums, and the box is Non-GMO Project Verified.
When should I stop and call a doctor?
Stop and ask a doctor if symptoms last more than 3 days or get worse, or if swelling, fever or rash develops. Don't use Camilia Bedtime if your baby has a known allergy to any of its ingredients.
How do I store the vials?
Keep unused vials in the foil pouch and use them within 3 months of opening it. Use each vial straight after opening, throw it away after one use, and don't refrigerate or freeze the doses.
